This Is Only For The 600.1 And The 1200.1 Here Ya Guys Go Have Fun And Try Not To Go To Nuts And Stay At 2ohms No Lower With This Trick!!!!

1 Ohm The Amp May Go Into Meltdown According To Phoenix Engineers!!!

So Keep The Load At 2ohms. Well Here It Is You Asked I Provide.....

SORRY FOR THE ROUGH DRAWING I ONLY have paint here at the shop computer... you will need a dei pulse timer for this mod...

the 600.1 for instance will put out right around 2000watts rms using this mod....this bypasses the xe.load thing the amp has....

and yes i have verified from phonex's engineer that this does in fact 100% work but only on the mono amps DO NOT USE THIS on any other models but the mono amps...

no guys .... the dei 528t gets hooked up along with the power and ground cables going to the amp... take the black on the dei and hook it and the actual ground to the neg at the amp. hook the red up the same way to the positive from the battery at the amp... remote same thing just tie it in to the amp's remote terminal...

the brown on the dei 528t does not get used as said, the yellow from the dei 528t goes to the speakers positive terminal and the darker orange wire goes to the positive on the amp so basically the dei piece goes between the + lead of the amp and the + terminal of the subwoofer. and them follow the instructions with the 528t to set it for about 2 seconds and you all set it works 100% i have tried it and holy crap the 600.1 puts out some insane power this way..... i actually picked up 4 of the 600.1's to use for my drag car this season.... ya know "cheater" amps =) but yes this does work and no you are not running 20awg wire to the amp you are tying the wires in at the amp terminals or you can take power and ground from another place as well but you do need the remote from the deck as well to the remote lead on the 528t

the 528t is a pulse timer usually used to operate a circuit for a set amount of time, what this mod does is make the amp efectivly "see" 0 ohms while turning on therefore bypassing the xe.load of the amp. this way the amp does not regulate the power output like it normally would at different impedances... after the amps is turned on and the xe.load is not the amp will effectvly work like normal doubling or even tripling its power output. we tested this on a 600.1 this week and benched the amp at 2ohms doing just over 1800watts. i imagine it will do more at 1ohm but this was NOT suggested to me by the engineer at phoenix. he said doing this mod running the amp at 2ohms the amp will run fine and runn all day long. the amp WILL draw much excess curent of course........

any questions ask ill answer the best i can i have done it and yes IT DOES WORK

oh and make sure to cut the blue loop on the dei piece....
