I've only heard one passive setup that I found to be pleasant, so I am a bit surprised that many of you are blown away. I guess i just have to hear a set for myself. Until then, i'm still skeptical. For those that are happy w/ theirs, it's all that matters,

I've actually yet to hear any active components lol... so all I have to compare to is my stock system, which wasn't too bad for stock, and what I've heard out of friends cars and such. I'm not gonna say they're remarkable as far as passive vs. active go, since I don't know, but as far as cost-effectiveness, they are unbeatable in my mind.

yea i know your leagues ahead of a lot of us on here SQ wise. but you still don't act cocky and you let people have their own opinions. we need more people like this around.

if people are happy with THEIR setup that IS all that matters. if people want to come on here and share their experiences then that is fine. thats what forums are all about anyway.

oh and i was very skeptical at first too, before i got them. but i figured for $87 why not try them. (i was about to buy the Rainbow CMX's honestly.) i have never been a big fan of Phoenix Gold, i haven't been against them either, just didn't know much about them.

I find douche to be offensive. I am, however, above resorting to such name calling.

In any case, I have never said anything negative about your RSD's. I have only said that I doubt they provide quite the audio nirvana that is being advertised.

Iam with you on this one those RSDs (which I have heard) sound outstanding for the price. but they do not compete with a well imaged and tuned High End system or even a decent active set-up with deadining and imaging

They do sound good though

ok nobody should be commenting on them that hasn't heard them in the first place. everybody that has used them has liked them a lot. the only people bad mouthing them arethe ones who have not used them. nobody should comment on anything they have not had personal experience with.

i think it's funny. some people just find it fun to be a pain in the *** online in forums.

he and some others have had no experience with them and should really not be talking until they have used them or heard them.
