That's fine, but I have seen a lot of posts floating around that rather carelessly state that the PG's can compete with those speakers and later you read that the poster has never heard anything other than their PG's and the stock system it replaced.

Yes... That is an issue... You can't compare your speakers to speakers you have never heard..

 
Would love to try them out for my 4runner.. somthing cheap and nice.. But descriptions like "crispness in the highs and mids" Makes me shy away. I have heard that term to many times from CDT owners and when I hear there systems, tears come to my eyes from the harsh overbearing highs.

the rsd tweets are not harsh at all. i have mine mounted on-axis and they still are not harsh.
