That is kinda what got this thread going IMO. That they are "as good or better" than higher priced comps. If they were they would be higher priced! Just thinking you may be expecting a little much based on the contents of this thread.

Cool, if I was looking to spend no more than $100 I would give them a try. I do note, however, that when Dv... was asking for people to send him a pair there were a couple of folks saying they would, but theirs had a bad tweet or crossover.

No problem at all there, but folks do seem to be getting carried away. Maybe it's justified as far as competing with other sets in it's price range, but some of the reviews seem a little far fetched. Boners tend to take a life on their own and I just think reviews should try to be a little more objective.

Thats what is good about the review this other guy is doing... He is getting a large sample group, and it will be based off of more opinions than the buyer (who would also tend to be very bias)

Cool, quite frankly I hope the PG's do great. I would like nothing more than inexpensive speakers that do wonders for the caraudio masses.

Kinda. I havent heard that particular set you have, but I have the 365's and I prefer the RSD's.

Thanks. I'm not looking for competition quality, just something decent for the wife's car. If I can find out the mounting depth I may try them.

If the depth of those speakers is too much for her car you may want to look into some alpine comps. How much depth do you have to work with?

I agree with you. It's kinda silly to expect them to compare to sets that cost 5 times as much. I've never had a set of components before, so they'll probably sound great to me.
