I'd like to see a review from someone running them active and tuned.

It seems like people just take them out the box, install them, and bam, they're great. I'd like to see RTA graphs as well, just for kicks.

they are not top notch SQ speakers... but for $90 they cannot be beat imo...

Just trying to get opinions, nothing more. If there's a set that outperforms them for the price, I'd like to look into them.

I think what people are saying is, "why buy 500$ comps when you can get 100$ ones that sound very good".... I haven't ever heard someone say that they were the best comps out there... Maybe for the money, but not overall...

Cool, if I was looking to spend no more than $100 I would give them a try. I do note, however, that when Dv... was asking for people to send him a pair there were a couple of folks saying they would, but theirs had a bad tweet or crossover.

No problem at all there, but folks do seem to be getting carried away. Maybe it's justified as far as competing with other sets in it's price range, but some of the reviews seem a little far fetched. Boners tend to take a life on their own and I just think reviews should try to be a little more objective.
