I actually had the idea from years ago watching other people do it. I just wouldnt put my name on the line to make a quick couple hundred bucks. ohh and BTW the disclaimer wont hold water in court.

It's common sence to read the thing that you are buying... And I am not saying that going to someone's house with bats and taking their car is right, it's not even close to doing this. This was rather creative...

By the way.... If you pay that much for a gaming console which will be down in price in a few months you are an idiot anyway.....

I dont really understand what your saying but...
It seems everyone is saying it is OK because the buyer is "stupid" and did not read the entire auction..

also one thing to note the higher the resolution of the person's monitor the smaller that black text got..

What I was trying to say was that I think that the number of people that think it is OK has been exagerated in your mind simply because you can't believe that anyone could think that way. But then again I have not studied every post either.

And of course I realize that he never intended for the reader to spot his disclaimer. That was the reason he printed the specs in large red print and the disclaimer in small black print at the bottom of the page. The small print was never intended to be seen let alone read. His whole purpose was to deceive someone so that he could cheat them out of their money.

The small print was not there to inform the buyer, it is there because he believes it will cover his ***.

Furthermore, his moral compass is so far off that he posted about his fraudulent auction on a public forum, apparently believing that this was within the norm.

No I don't think Noah has ever scammed anyone... I don't think he's smart enough (joke).... I was raised in a very liberal business environment, so I count that as creative....

Reminded me of the Family Guy when Peter buys a boat from a police seized items auction, first he bids on a "picture" of the boat he wants, loses.. then bids on the real thing.

Gotta read the whole auction, like the ones that list this or that HU and at the bottom in fine print says auction is for the remote control...

The guy who got screwed on the ebay was real smart, tracking him down, and he was simply being a dick when he didnt refund the guys money. I hope he gets some time and gets some more BJ practice in jail, maybe some buttsecks if you feel like venturing into that nG?
