Yeah... the guy ****ed himself, this is true.
But that aside, phattony set up the auction with the intention of ****ing someone over, and did just that. Not only is that just completely wrong and immoral, I definitely say that constitutes the title of a "scammer". Setting out with foul intentions which will knowingly harm someone else and benefit you directly is just a bad habit to get into.

maybe someone wanted a picture of it? There was more bids than just his im sure.

There are a vast amount of people that get excited and do things without thinking. My point was, I have been in the same situation...it sucks being on the losing end. My case I took it to court...I made launch cast pay for my mistake too. That is rare..."if it looks to good to be true...it probly is"

Think of all the possibilities that could've prevented the buyer from seeing that fineprint. Maybe bad vision, poor computer resolution, reduced font size, etc. What seperates a scammer from a scumbag? Intentionally attempting to swindle someone? Check. Understanding of the consequences of his actions. Check. Only difference is that he didn't rip off anyone on here so he's not a caraudio.com scammer. Plus, the kid is hooking up his car with his profits from this. Sorry, can't justify this in my mind.

P.S. The person has been a member since 02', clearly he has the aptitude to understand a scam when he sees it, but again, he thought he was going to get a ps3. he paid under this impression. tonydemarco intended for this to happen, how that isn't a scam, i don't know. i mean that is probably the very definition of the word.

meh...he is a piece of shit for doing that. Being trustworthy and not trying to get the best of people is a virtue he obviously doesnt have.

But take a while to think...

The person that bought that "picture" Could of been some kids mom that has been trying to get him a PS3 for christmas. She was probably so excited that she "found" one for under 1k, that she bid on it without looking. He/She probably wasn't an experienced eBayer, and wasnt around for the Xbox 360 scams with selling empty boxes and photos...

Just because he listed the item with a proper discription (I'm guessing because the eBay link no longer is active) with the word "picture" in the discription...doesnt mean he isnt a scammer...HE WENT ON EBAY WITH THE INTENTION TO SCAM SOMEONE...DO YOU REALLY THINK HE WANTED TO FIND SOMEONE THAT WANTED TO BUY MERELY A PHOTO OF A PS3.
