PhatTony... I think it’s been established that your customer isn’t the most intelligent guy around, but he doesn’t deserve what you’re doing to him. Sure you pocketed a measly $600.00, but is it worth it to carry such a burden on your conscience? Imagine yourself in his situation, you just made a simple mistake that could happen to anyone, we are human after all... How would you feel? Wouldn’t you want your money back more than anything… Don’t sell your soul for $600.00. Be a man, a human being for Christ’s sake and give the guy his money back…

...right about now, id do most anything (including this) to make a "measly" 600 bucks. burden on my conscience? naw, i would prolly forget about it once the money was gone..

and what if he doesnt believe in christ? therfore "for christs sake" is pointless.

meh...he is a piece of shit for doing that. Being trustworthy and not trying to get the best of people is a virtue he obviously doesnt have.
But take a while to think...

The person that bought that "picture" Could of been some kids mom that has been trying to get him a PS3 for christmas. She was probably so excited that she "found" one for under 1k, that she bid on it without looking. He/She probably wasn't an experienced eBayer, and wasnt around for the Xbox 360 scams with selling empty boxes and photos...

Just because he listed the item with a proper discription (I'm guessing because the eBay link no longer is active) with the word "picture" in the discription...doesnt mean he isnt a scammer...HE WENT ON EBAY WITH THE INTENTION TO SCAM SOMEONE...DO YOU REALLY THINK HE WANTED TO FIND SOMEONE THAT WANTED TO BUY MERELY A PHOTO OF A PS3.

Reason enough for me is that PhatTony's addy is clearly listed in Paypal. I know for one, if someone STOLE 600 bucks from me, I would make a trip.

As for PhatTonyDeMarco keeping the money that is pretty unbelievable.

I also get the idea that most of you approve of what he did.

I dont really understand what your saying but...

It seems everyone is saying it is OK because the buyer is "stupid" and did not read the entire auction..

also one thing to note the higher the resolution of the person's monitor the smaller that black text got..
