Phase Shift?

no. are your speaker wires reversed?
No, and they don't sound 180 out anyway.

Shifting between -6, -12, -18, and -24dB seems to give me different audible phase shifts. Front, rear and sub were -24, -18, and -12 respectively, but when I treated them like they had phase shifts and aligned the phases, they sounded so much better. I was trying to understand whether this was my imagination.

Josh

Yes phase shifts at the crossover point. Depending on type and slope determains shift
Generally, electronic crossovers model passive crossover behaviors. This includes phase shift.
Thank you gents.

Am I right in assuming that a digital signal processor will allow me to align phases irrespective of crossover point and slope?

Josh
