Would a Phase Controller like the old Precision power FSC-221 correct a poorly positioned sub?
Scenario: I have a sub in my car with the box in the back of the trunk flush to the back seat with the sub facing forward firing into the vehicle. Usually in this situation the sub is not nearly as loud as it could be if the sub was facing towards the front of the trunk firing into the trunk.
My thought is if you adjust the phase of the audio wave the sub is producing. You could adjust it so that the reflective wave is not cancelling out the indicent wave, thus making it louder.
Thanks for any input.
