Phase control on an amp...

I have always wired my subs correctly and have always thought I should keep it at zero.
And therein lies the problem......there is no "correctly". There is nothing wrong with reversing the polarity of the sub's wiring, if it improves the sound. Likewise, there is nothing wrong with reversing the phase using a phase switch, if it improves the sound. There is no "right" or "wrong".....it either "does" help, or it "doesn't" help.

Everything Squeak is saying is gospel. It took a couple of years being an installer before I figured out that there is no wrong or right when it comes to sound reproduction, only what sounds better. So experiment with it and let us know how it turns out.

BTW Thanks Squeak for the link, good reading.
