I Finally decided and purchased equipment:
MINT Crossfire cfa amps
2 Dayton rs28 tweeters
2 Dayton rs100 midrange
2 Dayton rs180 mid-bass
1 HiFonics Callisto 4way X-over (old school)
1 Crossfire cfa202 (highs) 50x2
1 Crossfire cfa302 (mids) 75x2
1 Crossfire cfa602 (mid-bass) 150x2
i have an extra cfa202 in case the cfa602 isnt enough for the midbass, i would use both cfa202's and bridge each one on midbass as follows:
1 Crossfire cfa302 (highs) 75x2
1 Crossfire cfa602 (mids) 150x2
2 Crossfire cfa202 (mid-bass) [1 amp per midbass] 200x2
OKAY,
i know its Trial and Error.
i would like to eliminate mistakes others have already made in this setup.
1) i want to put tweets in A-pillars firing towards each other.
and mids in pods on top of dash crossfiring.
and midbass in kick's
or
2) mids/tweets in pods crossfiring, midbass in kicks
or
3) tweets in a-pillar
mids in kicks, midbass in doors.
What do you suggest, what have you learned from your experience?
