as u can see the ones w/more total power are having a higher amps count

Mine is rated at 1507 watts! that is a shitload. I am currently about to get a Yellow Top put in my car, and am trying to find a alt around 150 amp or so. All the links for alts I have gotten off here don't make one for my car. So now I am at a lose of where to get one. and Dominick said it would be almost 400 bucks. Is that about right or a little high??

just got my tantrum 1200.1 installed yesterday. **** it sucks alot of power. drops the volts from 13.5 down to about 11.5 when the bass hits and my alternator belt starts to squeal after a couple minutes. looks like im going to need a bigger alt than the 80 amp one. puts out 1447.7 on the birth sheet i think. time for another battery and alt upgrade!
