Perfect AMP

Does anybody have any suggestions on what kind of amp to get for 2 Rockford Fosgate HX2 subs (12")? the subs put out 1000w max each. if you have suggestions pls. email me at nerdboy3200@aol.com. thanks for your help.

how much did u pay? If they are the rdf2212, I have the same ones and I dont know what amp. I want to put on them I think I am going to get a jbl bp 600.1 but i also need sugestions???!!! subs are (4ohms 500 rms) I know I need a 800 to 1000 watts amp into 2 ohms. but i still need suggestions.

500w RMS/ 1000w MAX would be the RFD2XXX punch HX2.

A jbl 600.1 would be sufficient for each sub. Oh, and the subs aren't 4ohm 500watts, it's 4ohm DVC, 500 watts RMS. They can take more power, so don't be TOO concerned with the number.

A single 4ohm DVC can be connected to get a final ohmload of 2ohms or 8 ohms. Using two 4ohm DVC will yield either a 1ohm or 4ohm load. Wiring can be seen in the wiring section, it's up on top as a sticky post.

no and no.

you can get a monochannel class D amp that has the rating of 1000w@1ohm. it can be more than 1000w.
