I just installed a radio in my roomate's truck... oh god.

The noob who owned it before him cut off the harness, so I had to hardwire it. Normally I wouldn't mind the extra time it takes, but two weeks ago, he found a note on his seat that said "Rat in your truck!"

Last week, his truck started to STANK. Something had undoubtedly died in there. It smells like someone dumped a bait bucket on his floor. So I did the whole install in the dumpster known as my roomat'es '88 F150. I was about to puke.

Not exactly an install but...

I was at the local Pick n' Pull and was looking for a new seatbelt for my car. When looking in the huge ford section I found a car similar to mine i think it was a Taurus or escort. I took off the panel that housed the seat belt and out fell: dead rat, dead rat's nest, and a crap load of cracker rappers. I don't even know how to explain the smell.... at first I couldn't smell it but once the panel came off I wanted to run and puke.... Another similar story was when I bought my car I bought it from a tow yard. I took it for a drive around the little lot and every thing was cool, it was a little dirty and dusty. At the time I was like 17 and my mom was there with me, so she suggested that I check the trunk for a spare tire. So I popped open the trunk and found about an inch thick of pornos on the bottom of the trunk. They weren't playboys or hustlers they were no name Dirty Dirty magizines. So we had the guy who owned the tow yard take them and throw them away. well after this hefty rain we had for 2 days strait there was a nice big puddle in my brothers car(a part of the weather stripping was off) and boy did it smell, it sat for a good day of sunshine...after soaking it up the worst part came up, taking it out...i was on my hands and knees in the huge wet spot...after getting it out and giving it to my brother to clean, but no he put the wet carpet in my room with a note asking if i can do it, well after 2 days of washing and letting it dry its finally done and i put it in, but there is still a huge wet stain on my carpet in my room and it had soaked down to the wood so i need to pull the carpet and sand down the wood before it gets moldy

1. about a week or 2 ago did a headunit install for a fat chick, she had every kinda cookie, candy, chips, pop, you could think of!! everywhere. glove box, door panels, seat backs, floor. i mean there was food everywhere!! it was seriously unbeliveable.......

2. did a install in a old school 67 -68 pontiac lemans, there was mouse poo everywhere!! under the carpet, dash. about an hour later found a dead rotting mouse!!!

Because if you don't take care of your car, it won't take care of you. I keep my car clean, keep the oil changed, keep good tires on it, usually keep the inside clean //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif, keep the carpet clean, I wax it, clean the brake dust out of the wheels, perform maintenance when it's needed- ie. keeping the brake pads changed, tires rotated, and anything else that comes up... and since I take care of my car, I know it will be in working order when I need it to be.
