people with nasty cars and the installers who have to work in them

yay for this thread...

alright i worked on a eclipse 03 new girl style body. this black dude owned it and had it all riced out like fast and furious stickers and nottin done on the motor, well i had to put front speakers and a sub amp. i slide the seat forward and found *****'s, **** dvd's and a magazine. i was like **** it... i got a plastic bag and just covered that shit. then i opened the trunk.... and to see a rat in the trunk dead smelled like shit one of the guys in the bay threw up. i was like **** it so i told my SI mananger and he said call him up too pick it up too was so i roled hte ***** back out the bay, and when i parked it his visor on the passenger fliped down (loose?) and all this weed fell out.... fun car to work on 45minutes of looking at this filth. we left all his **** on his dash outside when he picked it up.... havent seen him since

worked in a mini van puttin in a dvd player and headrest tvs. and the kids used the backseat cup holder as a ceral bowl. then didnt clean it up after months and months. ya nice smell there
another time an old man came in and he wanted new speakers. his were blown no big deal. but one problem the guy was crazy and kept jars of urine in the trunk and he pissed all over his front and back seats. well thats when i decided thats the rookies frist job besides sweeping the shop
ewwww that is nasty as **** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hilarious.gif.02a037aad04aa96f19982b298a3d70a8.gif that made me laugh

Not a bad story but a good one. I pulled the seats to get under the carpet of my 96 Pontiac GTP ( this was like 8 yrs ago). Found an original 1958 Mickey Mantel baseball card in a hard case. It wasnt his rookie card, it was only worth $500 in a Beckett at the time. No card shop would buy it though. Stll have it, best thing I ever found installing any car audio gear.
I wish I found cool stuff like that. All I found was under my carpet, a green keychain cowboy boot and a playing card.

lolz i always keep the car clean it gets cleaned like every week i just cleaned it today lolz i have never had left skitttles or m&m's cuz that shit is gross and im a clean person not a pig //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif i have pics too prove it lolz

Eh, the nastiest thing I've found really wasn't that nasty, but it definately wasn't somthing I wanted in my car...

I just bought a new (to me) GTP, and took out the seats, console, carpet, etc... and found a bag of weed...

Around here, if you are under 21, and get pulled over, they pretty much search your car, for the hell of it...

Also, the **** that owned it before me obviously couldn't keep liquid in cups, beause under my console there was a ton of sticky shit, and what appeared to be coffee stains.

my last nasty car, I stepped on a used condom in back installing an amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

you are a sick bastard

When I was installing I worked on a lot of nasty cars but nothing beats the Plymouth Sundance I worked on. The woman who drove the car was so fat that the **** seat frame was bent! People always think I'm making that up and I guess if I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed myself. Oh yea and the seat was nice and sweaty when she dropped it off! Easily the worst car I worked on.
Let me guess your coworkers found you sniffing the seat 15 min later.

The dirtiest car so far has been this one guy's Scion. his floor was wet and smelled terrible. he had a bottle of old *** pepto bismol that was all crusty on the inside, there wasnt even any liquid. it was like a thick paste.

In a 98 supra we found a condom with an expiration date of 02 on it.

there havent been any really trashy vehicles come through the shop though

Figured I would share one of mine....

I did this install with alpineinstaller at his old shop. Anyways a 90s body style suburban comes into the shop wanting us to install 4 Sony Xplod 12s in 2 Pre-fab boxes running off of a Sony 1200W amp, and 4 6x9s running off of a small jensen 2 channel. The shop owner agreed to this and we agreed to do the install the next day. So 10 am rolls around the following day and the guy drops off his suburban. Blake drives it around and we open up the back to see what kind of shape all of the equipment is in. I was shocked...the boxes were water logged (still wet) and there was mold all over the carpet on the boxes. The amps looked as if they had been drug behind a car for a few miles and the 6x9s were in just as bad shape. but by far the best part of the install was finding a loaded hand gun in the engine compartment in the fuse box. That vehicle was absolutly disgusting, and when we got everything hooked up the Xplods...Exploded the box forcing air out of the bottom of the soaking wet boxes. Me and blake laughed for good hour while we were listening to this POS system. So the next day the guy comes in and picks up his truck, and you know what happens next......."DAYYYYUM this shit sounds amazing its so Fucking loud, IT GOES BOOOM LIKE SOOOOO" I just shook my head...
