people that have used/heard both type-r and dc audio lvl 3's

what are the most noticeable differences?

and before you ask yes I have been searching for days and cannot find too many threads on lvl 3's, or any specifically comparing the two. from what I have read the dc's hit "low lows" (dont even know what that really means, I'm a n00b).

I use type-r's now and love them, but am looking for an upgrade now.

also does anybody know how much lvl 3's cost if I buy them directly from DC? a local shop is selling them for $295 and that is way out of my price range. I have contacted them directly twice but haven't got a response.

If you have a dealer right by you you cant get direct pricing anyways.

DC is a great company and worth the dealer price compared to anything mainstream..

Need some info. WHat vehicle is it going in, how much power, budget, space etc

and I have heard both.. I owned 2 lvl 3 12s , even tho I could have got new Rs for under $100 a piece .. It was worth the extra $$ to me..

Rs have potential as well, but I just liked the sound of the DCs much better..

I was gonna say something exactly like that .. But didnt wanna be bashing on them. Cuz they are descent.. But not for $200

It's just my opinion. Nothing wrong with bashing so he knows he can do "better", which is really subjective anyway. If he likes it that's great, it's his taste, just not mine
