If you take time with the install, you can make either sound pretty good. Don't be a brand-hater.

Sony does have a few nice HeadUnits. I just sold a Sony Mobile ES HU and changer. They were pretty nice. The changer NEVER skipped.

Duel just SUX! All around.

i gotta agree with this because i had all sony in my eclipse and it was loud as hell everyone still to this day says to me that eclipse was loud...i mean im not trying to win bass competitions i just wanna have good enough sound to where people are lookin at my car from the street....anyways i dont have that system anymore i have alpine and fosgate p3's

I've never once been wowed by a Sony product. The ones I have used have thoroughly underwhelmed me. They do great at marketing, though. I will give them that.
