Funky pups can be used at SPL competitions (where they aren't banned). It doesn't mean that is the best application. SPL subs can still play music. The enclosures they are coupled with for SPL purposes are not ideal for most music. In the proper enclosure, they can be used daily with good results. I will agree that some subs are not ideal for daily ground-pounding lows
Not Sure What It was, I was told he peaked at 35hz so I think it was on that tone, but like I said it's not an SPL Sub, Just a solid daily driver & demo mobile.
Some are not very good at music. The atomic one apx whatever su cks playing music. It's a burp only sub.
That's more cone area than 2 12s, 6500 plus rms, huge coil and motor. That's a horrible score.
This is all true, Thanks for your input, But that's what I'm saying the Ermagerd is towards directly for Lows as in 30hz & well below, the YOLO is not ment for that, but they do sell a music application.

May not be ideal, but you could still play music through it. It doesn't only accept sine waves, haha
Actually From what the Video he said that it had so much rise he was @ 1.8 ohm with a clamped 5600 Watts.
Ok still a lot of power. I hope you have higher expectations.
Could have been a horrible score, but like I said It's not the ideal spl sub, the YOLO on the other hand is another story.

A loud sub is a loud sub. Is a Sundown Z or 9500 a spl sub? No but they can beat that
The "music version" probably has a lower fs with less or softer spiders. Sean would have to weigh in on the exact differences. It bothers me that T/S parameters are not listed.
