People actually buy EMF?

Some of us are around this stuff, everyone we know has higher end products so we get a lot of time with different things. We don't have to own every single sub to look at it and see its flaws. After a few years of messing with these types of products you can see between the big motor. You can spot the bull sh it

Then Why do people talk bad on a product they've never tried? I heard people say Fi audio has bad tinsel leads , so If someone asks me about fi I'm just gonna be like nah you'll need to recone those monthly cause of there tinsel leads, or should I buy the product & give them an honest opinion of the product? See, Most people on here go by what they hear instead of actually doing it them selvs.
They fixed the tinsel lead problem.

I am also interested in what you have heard, that you will compare your EMF to.

Edit: You've never heard any other setups?
No what have you used before? Have you had another big power 18? If not your review won't mean anything. Get what I'm saying?
Yes I do @NoLoud4U , & my opinion & review on the Ermagerd might not mean anything to you, to someone else who wants to buy EMF Products it will matter to.

So what have you used before? Example I like DD 95s but I have also used DC XLs, and Sundown Zv3s. So my opinion holds a bit of weight since I can compare termlab scores and RTA curves. What big 18s have you had because if you have never had one you are by default going to the that EMF is amazing.

& I wasn't saying Fi had bad leads, I was going by what I 've heard people say, like how people are making assumptions on EMF & how some actually tried the product like 72impala said he did. My whole point is don't bash it unless you've tried it, some people might not see it like that, but that's how my point of view is, the Ermagerd might not be the best or even in a high class for spl competitions but as a demo sub I have a feeling it will be nice, but only one way to find out..... Personal Experience.

If you see multiple Fi leads catch fire at shows you don't have to own one to know they have lead issues. If you see multiple DC subs lock up and break triple joints you don't need to own one to know they have soft part issues.

The Ermagerd is not an "SPL" sub. As far as I understand, it was intended for daily use. The YOLO series was EMF's product for the SPL world

Alpine type R's, Soundqubed HDC3, HDC4 & The HDS15, DC XL, RE SX, & I had a solo x for like a week and a half. NOT saying they were amazing setups, but they all seemed to play better on different frequencies, the SX liked the lower notes & the SQ Liked The 38hz tune. The XL Was in 7cubic ft & was tuned to 34 hz? I believe. Liked them all, All Were on Around 2200-2400 rms. Since I was running a 2200 on all of them Except the R's & the HDS 15.

I'd consider being a witness to a sub catch fire As personal experience.

Those are decent, but I think you need to consider the price difference too when giving the final verdict. For your sake, I hope it turns out good and you're happy with the performance/price ratio.

What happened to your 2200? I seem to remember hearing that you had a 750. Correct me if I'm wrong. I may be thinking of someone else.

The Ermagerd isn't designed to be a competition sub, it can be used as one, but it's mostly used as a daily driver. & Yes the YOLO is the competition sub, Your right. But if you took a all out spl sub & played music through it I'm sure it wouldn't sound as good as a musical sub would. Like how people do comps with the Ermagerd , it's a daily driver not a SPL Sub , then they go talking bad about it when it doesn't perform Like A SPL Sub would. Even though from what I heard, Tony economou did a 150 with a single 18" Ermagerd on an ns1 @ .5 ohm.

Buddy a 150 with a 18 is not that good. On that power it's really bad unless it was under 20hz
