Are those sony pentagon speakers any good. and does it actually make any difference at all, or is it just the look. anybody know anyone who had them?

Ya I would not get them at all. I am sure that the pentagon makes a difference, good or bad I can't say, but I can say that those speakers are not good.

Some people would find Sony's to sound great, but that is just their opinion. I am just saying that compaired to other products out there, Sony's woofers don't meet the standards.

I can say from experince that sony is not worth buying! Just get something TOTALLY differnt IDC what it is besides Pyramid and sony

i didnt think the P5's sounded too bad.. i thought they got rather loud too... just my opinion though..

i may not be right but i think anything with coners that excerts cuts performance.....yes the L7 im talkin about it as well....just my opinion all can get loud, but how much more power does it take to excert corners? just a thought?

i just think something with square cornres, angled corners, or anything but round, would be more difficult to make excert that a round figure. im prolly wrong but ...yah

i don't think so, it's just the pressure would not be uniform over the speaker
