Tried to bridge the amp today and the noise persisted in the two speakers connected... not quite as bad as channel 2 alone, but the whole thing seems uncharacteristic of Alpine. I am currently in the market for some JL amps to replace these and then I'll send the 4.100 in to alpine to have them check it out and sell the 1.600...
