If the transaction is covered under the seller protection policy, the payment will go go into the seller account when sent. If not, as the seller, you will be given the option to accept or deny the payment. im at -$327 in my paypal account i got a buyer who did a chargeback on me when he ****ed up my mmats amp and told paypal that i sent him a blown amp. a world full of scandalous buyers

question: the collections will call your house when you lose the claim, right? i mean right now my case is still be investigated...

If you gave them your SSN, your probably going to need to pay it or it will go to collection agency after 60 days I think. If not, **** it. Open a new account under wife/mom/dad, etc.

Yes, if you read one of my previous posts on here, I had a similar situation in which I had to do a cc chargeback and paypal had my account -225. I just left it and opened a new account under my wifes name 3 years ago. Nothin on my credit report or from any collection agency. You will not be able to use any bank or cc accounts that were on your neg account though.

what about your phone number? if you didnt give them your SSN, wouldnt the collectors use the phone number you gave paypal??

This is why I HATE Paypal. Got ripped for $600 for a set of rims and provided them with tracking number and all. Still, the claim want in his favor. WTF????

okay so when it went it the other guy's favor, what did you do? were you able to ask why or talk to the investigation team?

Actually, I found a site that lists information about some of the BS paypal has pulled.

Its pretty messed up.
