It's all about the specs of the PR and the amount of air being displaced by both the sub and PR(s). If you get adjustable PR's it makes it a lot easier instead of having to actually worry about the calculations involved in picking out how many of which PR you need based on the non-changable specs of the PR(unless you change it yourself by creatively adding mass).Ram, do ceertain PRs work better with certain subs, or does it not make a difference?
And...?those PR's have washers that can be added. they come in 10 12 and 15 models
You're going to need a pair of those if using a single 10" driver, otherwise you'll tear the PR apart before pushing the sub very far. I'd look into something that you can adjust with washers attached to the back of the PR, and that has more excursion capability.
you said i needed one that i could add mass to , and going to a 15" PR would be similar to adding 2 10" PR's in my logic but i could be wrong seeing as how i posted this to learn something. I have no experience in this area
