Parents and kids these days

My mom did the same thing. But I just went in to the back yard, walked around the house, and left. Came back like a couple hours later and, well I enjoyed the little freedom I had.

pffft, My mom used to do the " go get a switch " thing. I come from a rather large family, 3 older sisters, 1 younger sister, and one younger brother. Didn't take me long to figure out things having seen them happen to my older sisters. Mom told me to go get a switch one day. So I went out in the yard and brought back a tree branch that I could barely lift. Figured mom wouldn't be able to swing it as hard. Once she got done laughing, she broke off a piece of the branch and proceeded to bust my a$$ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif On the other hand dad was a little more diplomatic about things. He would offer the choice either the dress belt, or his uniform gun belt ( navy SP ). MY retarded sisters would always choose the dress belt, thinking the smaller belt woudn't hurt as much. I on the other hand always opted for the larger belt. In my mind bigger belt = harder to swing. To some extent I was right, but it still hurt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

A stick from a tree. They beat your *** with it, after you have to go pick it off the tree yourself. Also used was the blinds thing, the plastic thing you turn to open the blinds on the window.

Yep, wooden spoons , hair brush, or what ever else happened to be handy at the time . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Creative.

My parents used a ruler before but never thought of that. Ping pong pattle was a fav of my dads. He actually ripped off the padding...

Funny shit, my mom broke a brush on my sisters *** once. My sister just started laughing at her. She stopped hitting her after that.

for my grandfather's 80th birthday, my dad got him james brown's Papa Don't Take No Mess single on vinyl, signed. it runs in our family //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
