Pairing amp with woofer

Recently aquired a Hifonics HFi1500 mono amp looked up specs and at 4 ohms 500w 2 ohms 1000w and 1 ohm 1500w. I'm looking to get a 15 inch woofer to run off this. Thinking of getting a dual 2 ohm coil woofer wire it down to 1 ohm and make sure rms is below 1500w. Am I correct on this? Don't got a lot of money but suggestions are welcome

Fir a 1500 watt sub new you'll be looking at the $350+ range

What about something like these? Might not be true rms but always better to have bigger amp and have it dialed down correct?

Just did some research read these amps are commonly paired with the Alpine type r 15. 750 watt rms. One question should I get the dual 4 or dual 2 ohm type r? Wired down to 1 or 2 ohm? Seeing amp is rated at 1500 at 1 ohm and 1000 at 2 ohms my guess is dual 4 ohm coil?

In the price range. Now with the hds315 handling 1200 rms that means I would want to get the dual 2 ohm coil and wire it down to 1 ohm? I guess what I am asking is whatever option I go with I want the max rms of the speaker below what my amp is pumping out but not dramatically.. anything with a max rms below 500 watts I would want wired at 4 ohms so my amp would be pushing 500 watts? Anything below max rms of 1000 watts but above 500 would be wired to 2 ohms and anything max rms below 1500 watts and above 1000 would be wired at 1 ohm? Am I correct on this?

Would you say those woofers are better than alpine type r? Both around same price
