basic question.....

im building a wall...what are the pros and cons of painting my side @ rear windows black?

I would think you could get it off...but It would be horribly messy, and probably not look as good as the origninal

Me...I would just tint the hell out of them, and finish the side of the wall with suede or something.

I think the paint would look tacky.

We did this to Jason's caprice, picked up a few rattle cans of flat black and went for it.

It's incredibly cheap way to black out the windows.

BUT, if tint laws are strict around you... be prepared to pay. Jason had his on for... a month and a half and got pulled over I think...

We did it to his b/c we knew this was his junk car... and he'd be getting a wagon in the near future anyways...

I have had painters tell me never to paint glass for one reason. Anything that touches the paint is going to scratch it

When we did a wall in a Berretta, we painted the back window with spray paint.

It worked and we got it off with a razor blade just fine.

 

When I walled my Blazer, I used black vinyl on the rear windows and that worked out even better. And easier to get off.

Painted my back side windows and it looked better than my tint, so dont know why you guys would think it would look tacky. Dont know how it was to take off though being car got repoed, lol!
