How do you think this looks for a new system for my 2002 Ford Escape SUV? I know NOTHING about systems (what does all the wattage and ohms and peak power and all that mean?), so help would be appreciated....

if you are going to a Car Audio install shop, you might as well buy everything there.

go to one, play with a deck or two, listen to some speakers. and go from there.

scratch it all......basically all crap esp. those components plus you would need an amp for them n e ways

The budget is probably around $500-$600. I just want a good system for my SUV. I listen to rap so I want strong bass, but nothing too extreme that it will drown out the music. As far as I know, I should get component speakers for the front and back doors (and possibly deadening), subs and an amp for the trunk, and a new head unit (heard Pioneer is the best). That's all I know...

again, go to a shop. and look around. most shops can help you with if you are on a budget.
