PAC-SOEM4 Install Questions

I've got a Bose Symphony II headunit with the factory amplifier removed. I plan to use the SOEM-4 to get 2 RCA pairs from the line-level inputs coming from the deck. I've already got a remote wire to the amps.

Do i need to give the SOEM4 12v power (pictured)? Is there a benefit?

I'd like to confirm I have a good ground for my amps, is there a way to do this with my voltmeter?

Should the SOEM4 tap into the headunit ground wire (pictured) or a chassis ground?

Here's a visio of my amp rack and then the SOEM-4 wiring:

(and here are the wires going back to the HU)

Thanks!

I would like to know why can't I get my pac soem 4 to come on, I have wired it according to the makers diagram, I have a Toyota Soarer SC 300 I can't get any audio output signal from the back of the head unit so I have to bounce my audio from the rear speaker wires, I am using the wired setting for my input and the RCA for my output, which speakers do I need to use for my trigger remote output because the wiring diagram only show to use the purple wire connected to the rear right if using RCA as input nothing about using the wired as input, the next thing is where do I connect the extra three negative speaker wires that I don't need to connect..? and where do I connect my sub-wires.

If you're tapping into the rear speakers you should have a Rear Left +, Rear Left -, Rear Right + and Rear Right -. Those 4 would connect to the respective Purple/Green negative/positive on the wired input. Your RCA's then go to the AMP, where your sub is powered from. Connect the blue wire of the SOEM-4 to the remote on your amp. Make sure to wire in the ground on the PAC SOEM-4 - I suppose in this case you would use a chassis ground?

If that doesn't fly, you may need to contact PAC support.
