PA mids in front doors sounds hollow ( but why)

How low is low? I hate playing full range on speakers. Cut out the lows and they usually sound tons better. So you are either trying to play notes it just cant or ya need to make the door a better enclosure as it might not be liking the IB set up or there is to much rear wave coming out the front somewhere.

I have ran the 6.5’s, but not the tweeters. They were very smooth and had good low mid bass. They were perfectly happy being high passed at 75 hz...
