OT: Your procedure before taking your car to the shop?

I make sure to have a good supply of Vaseline waiting at home for me so the bill doesnt hurt so much.

Pop off the faceplate here..
One time I got my oil changed and was sitting in the waiting room. I forgot to pop my faceplate off. I then heard someone bumping. I looked out at the road and realized the bass was coming from one spot. I then realized it was my truck! The porch monkey had turned my volume up while changing my oil. It was a .mp3 cd and "I hate ni*gers was on it". I had my cd player set to random and I was hoping it would go to that song.

I trust my mechanic so I take nothing out.

If I am in a tire shop or something like that I take off the faceplate...just in case.

i do everything myself..i dont take my truck to the shop. i took it to dodge when i first bought it before anything was in it to get a centercap and have them program another key lock clicker..but everything was stock then.

the only shop i take it to is the one next door to my work and i know the 2 guys that work there dont care about my stereo so i just leave it alone. if i had to take it somewhere else id just take the face off and put it in my pocket or somethin

I leave mine alone. It has no internal CD player so everything is satellite. They would have to figure out how to get music to play. Most times they wont.
