Oscilloscope ? HELP

That usb one won't work for you. It measures a max 5v and it has a sample rate of 4khz. You want a scope that samples in the Mhz range and also you would need at least a 50V to be safe for measuring amps.

Your best bet is to find an older analog scope. I found one on craigslist for $50.

Otherwise find one on ebay, they usually run 80-100 but shipping costs can be high.
