Orlando Recone Help

Is there anyone in the Orlando that has the talent of doing recones. Im getting one and i really dont want to try it my self the first time.

Its not really that difficult. Someone showed me how to do 1, and i reconed 3 right after. Just cut it all out, get a dremel and grind all the crap off. Then plop some epoxy (the stuff they sell at Walmart works awesome) around the edge of the basket and the edge of the spider landind. Lay it down using the shim to make sure its centered and then put something on top of it to make sure it has some pressure on it, but make sure its only a couple pounds. Then center the dustcap and glue it down.

i like accelerator , so your pretty much done when ya spray it, i still tend to let them sit clamped over night tho......

im not worrying about glueing i under stand the whole clean the landings and glue, but that shim thing is what scares me. what if i make it just a little bit crooked and i mess the whole thing up. its hard to come by money when you a full time college student. thats why i really dont want to do the first recone.
