orion problem

i currently have the ppi 1500.1 dcx powering 2 type r 12" d4 and an orion 4004 for the mid but i think the installer install it wrong because the orion get pretty hot an i think its because i have a absolute capacitor and it has 2 outlet but he used those 2 outlet to power the ppi and he plugged the orion directly and i have a yellow optima will that be the problem or should i conect the orion to one of the outlet but if i do that will the ppi run stable without problem
