Orion hcca250 or Sundown Sae1000d?

Have a Kicker 0615L7D2 sub in box built to specs. Which amp should I run, Orion HCCA 250 (1st gen or 2nd gen) or Sundown SAE-1000D?

i say go with the sundown, the Orion is nice and all but will get hot and probably need to be dropped low to get more power out of them. They're nice for aesthetic reasons, but functionally i wouldn't tell you to go with it

there should not be a difference in sound quality.

1ohm Class D is a lot different from 1ohm class AB

Get the sundown.

so I'm guessing it would be in the mid 70's on the Sundown but we all know the hcca amps are underated on power.

The sundown will all around be better, it wont break a sweat running at 1 ohm. Get the sundown

and so are the sundown. HCCA will most likely be lower at 1ohm in terms of efficiency. But TBH the sundown would be near low 70s high 60s as with most, if not all, class D amps at 1ohm
