I dont classify that generation of Orion as old school. That was out with the G4 and G5 Orion amps. I think the last of the old school amps is the 3rd gen.

Badass amp nonetheless. GL with the sale. I give it no more than 2 weeks before its gone.

Yeah, bought it used and thought it was older than it is. Just checked the copyright date on the manual. Still, Pre-buyout, unregulated power supply. Hard to beat.

I know this is a really noob question but, is the TC-9 a more SQ woofer? I searched and that is what I am thinking, but was it modified for better SQ or SPL?

It is more SQ-based yes. I had Dave build it with the intent that it would be used in an SQ system. Will still get nice and loud though.
