Orion 6.5 XTR Series 2

went over to my homboys house yesterday.. checked out his car's factory sound system ( 98 camero w/bose) the bose enclosure had this little Orion in it... never saw sutch a BEEFY 6 1/2!! so i bought it off him for $5.00 looks brand new if you ask me! still works... just wanted to have it... dont need it really just thought it was cool!!!

thinking about building a little box for it and putting it on my work bench!

its 250w rms 4 ohm svc

It's an XTR 6.5. They quit making them around 8 years ago. They were meant woofers, not subs. Lacking in the very bottom end. Ballsy little drivers though.

ok so i have been looking and looking.. i can not find any info for this driver..

if you google Orion xtr 6.5 there are a few pics of it. but mine is a series 2..

i want to build a little ported box for this thing for my work bench. i have a 300w sub amp for it and everything.

anyone got any info?

I remembe those back when, I dont remember the specs though. I used to run a pair with my XTR 2 15" subs...

They were, I used them for midbass. I had the 15's in the trunk to match them...
