then why not just wire to 8 ohm? at 2 ohm it owuld be over double the rms of the sub i have, an eclipse 88120 dual 4 ohm. and at 4 ohm just over the sub ibought, an idmax 12d2, which is fine with me.why can't you wire down to a lower impedance and adjust the gain accordingly ?
well saidthen why not just wire to 8 ohm? at 2 ohm it owuld be over double the rms of the sub i have, an eclipse 88120 dual 4 ohm. and at 4 ohm just over the sub ibought, an idmax 12d2, which is fine with me.
and ot those who say wasted power....how so?
would this not be an amp that could power many different setups? i could run anything from a moderate powered dual 4 sub, the eclipse, all the way up to a multiple sub setup adn have power to spare all the way arond.
its not always about getting an amp and using it to its max potential.
feel ya do whats best for u, 8 ohms should be good thoughthen why not just wire to 8 ohm? at 2 ohm it owuld be over double the rms of the sub i have, an eclipse 88120 dual 4 ohm. and at 4 ohm just over the sub ibought, an idmax 12d2, which is fine with me.
