Oh one last thing...you need to watch out if you have a head unit that has over 4-5v of signal. The 2500 will not enjoy an 8v preout head unit.

Before this thread gets out of hand...The 2500d will not fry if the voltage is too low, it has protection circuts built into it that keeps this from happening. With that said as long as the amp is not clipping the gain can be as low or high as you want. The gain all the way down will not hurt anything.

OK thanks for clearing that up...I guess I'll leave my gains down for daily driving.
