Thats right! My final decision was getting a Soundstream T4-15 Tarantula. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif Now I need two 1ohm stable class D 1500w amps that can go .5 ohm at comps. The reason I need two amps because the T4-15's are dvc 1 ohm and when I go to my first comp I want to run a second one so I can run both at a .5 ohm load each amp. These subs are rated at 1,000rms and 2,500 burst. Hell putting two 1,500w amps on one will shake the ground.

The thread is all yours.

^^^^x2

if it was SVC you would be correct with the .5 ohm load

this should make your search for two amps much easier, at least filled with more options

Yes I understand that I need two amps on one T4-15 but what should I go with? Also I will be getting a second T4-15 so I can run both at competitions so I need an amp that will drop down to a .5 ohm just for burps. I know I'll have to re wire the subs when I go to a comp. But for now I just need two 1500w amps so I can run one for daily driving.

if your wanting to strap the amps youd need them to be strappable to .5 ohm...or just run them at 1 ohm, 1 to each coil...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yes I understand. I will be getting two 1500 watt amps that run to 1ohm mono two each voice coil. Now when compition comes I'll re wire the each sub to .5ohm and run it off a 1500w amp that will push around 2800w to each sub. This is only for comps brcause I don't want to do thaT during daily driving because I'll smpke them amps pretty quickly.

I hope you know what I'm talking about. During comps each amp will run at .5 ohm to each sub just for comps. But for daily driving I run just one sub with two 1ohm amps since the dvc is 1ohm each. I hope I'm making sence. Daily driving will be using just one T4-15 with two amp hooked up. Competitions I'll use one amp for each sub driving it down to .5 ohm load just for burps. Remeber just at comps. Daily driving will be two 1ohm mono amps on one T4-15. Now what I'm asking for is what amp is rated at 1500w at 1ohm but can drop down to a .5 ohm just for compitions. I just don't want to buy a two 1500w amps taht will burn up dropping to .5 ohm for a couple of seconds.

Daily driver will be two 1500w 1ohm amps on a T4-15. At compitions I need the same amp that I can re wire to a .5ohm to each sub that will not burn up for a couple of burps. Now I their any recomendation on amp amp that can do that for burps only?

I hope I'm not sounding to confusing for you guys. I've read Atomic amps, Planet audio 2250 and Orion 1200 but I need a two 1500w amps.

what about a single orion 2500D? series it for daily then for comps drop it to .5 ohm? Or just keep it at .5 ohm.
But 2500 will be to much power and it only runs at 1ohm and my sub is dvc 1ohm each so I would need to strap two of those baby's to one T$-15 and the maximum burst is only 2500w. SO mabye getting two 1200d orions would work but I'm looking for 300w more.

Well then I'll need two 2500w amps that can run 2ohm mono for each sub. I was trying to go with the cheapest way possible. It's not like I'm going to run both subs all day long. Thats why I want two 1 ohm 1500w for one sub then eventual at a competition I can re wire each sub to one amp and run it at a .5ohm.

Either I'm typing some confussion shit or I'm not typing this correctly. Anyways I'll just try some more searching and find out what amps that are stable at .5 ohm for competitons.

See I can get 2 planet audios that run 1 ohm model to each voice coil for daily driving. Now when I go to a competition I'll take thedvc off of one sub and wire it to a half ohm to the planet audio amp. Then I'll do the same to the other tarantula it to half ohm on the other planet audio just for comps. After showing off my system then I will go back to using one tarantula and put back the two planet audios on one sub for daily driving. I hope you guys get what I'm saying

All I want to know is what amps should I get that won't fry to fast going down to .5ohm just for burbs not daily driving.

Sorry for the questions. If I can't get an answer than I'll go with two Planet Audios since I read that they can do .5 ohms for burbs but they are rated way to high for my system.

i have no clue what your babbling about;)...

but pm scottiej about some modded mtx1501d's.

IIRC they do 1800w@2ohm, 2000+w@1ohm...

and will do .5 ohm

i think i remember scottie telling me he even ran a couple .5 daily for awhile;)

I'm just trying to be safe.

Ok one more try. I need two 1500w amp at 1ohm to run a single Tarantula dvc 1ohm for daily driving meaning two 1ohm stable amps for each vc. Thats simple. One amp for each voic coil. Ok now these amp will need to run at .5 ohm for burbs if I wire one of those 15' subs down to .5 ohm since they are dvc 1ohm. Now then I would take my second amp and do it to the other 15 and run the dvc to .5ohms for competitons. Once I leave the competiton I would retitire one 15 and re wire the two amp to the single 15 dvc 1ohm. I just need an amp that can do close to 2500 to 2800 watts at .5ohms only at competitions not daily driver so I don't smoke the amps.

I can't explain it anymore than I have. But thank you for you patience. Atleast people here are trying to be helpful and I really appreciate that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

2 orion 2500D's. 2 ohms daily, .5 ohms for comps.
or the older 2400D's I think their max power comes at 2 ohms.
A little to much poer for me. Running tow orion 2500w to each 1ohm vc will blow the sub to hell. Mabye two Orion 1200D would work for each vc the when comps come along I can run each sub at .5 ohm on each amp. I was looking at Atomic amps but they seem to be banned until next year. They can drop down to 2800w at .5 ohms. I hope their not banned in other comps. Also I can go with shitty hifonics since they can burb at .5 ohms but i hate to fry them on the spot.

Oh well I guess I have a lot of searching to do but I appreciate your guys help. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
