Hello, I have a Jeep Wrangler, with a pair of 12" MA audio MA121XQ subs in a crappy rectangular, air leaky box that I built with no knowledge of carpentry or sub enclosures. The subs are powered by an old school Xtant 121m that I got from a buddy for $50. I think that I have the subs wired for 4 ohms right now, i cant remember. Anyways, I ordered a sub box that will fit in my jeep:

Box I Ordered

What I want to know is how to get the maximum sound out of my system setup, with the new box, the Xtant 121m amp, and the 2 MA121XQ subs. I have heard the the xtants were customizable, is there anything I can tune on it? Is the box going to have enough volume for the subs? It is air sealed, should I drill holes? or is it better air tight? What should I wire the subs for, 2 or 4 ohms and how to I do that with my amp?(wiring diagram) should I bridge the amp?

Dimensions of the new box:

Length: 32"

Height: 16"

Top Depth: 6"

Bottom Depth: 10-1/4"

Is it big enough for the subs? Its all that will fit behind my seat.

Thank you very much for your input.

Anyone? Maybe i'm asking a little much, maybe if someone could just tell me:

Would my setup be better with a hole drilled for air to escape?

and 2 ohms or 4 ohms?

Bridge the amp?

Thank you.
