optima battery question

hey ima get 2 optima batteries a redtop under the hood and a yellow in the back for my sterio. my question is what modle or what not should i get? i got a 2000 eclipse. i know that i need the yellow and red but thats about it can some one help.

that battery only kicks out 12v shouldnt it be about 14v?

batteries are only 12.6 volts, it's the alt that kicks it up to 14ish volts

hang on i just looked at the price on that svr batterie and its $330 the optimas are about $120 each on ebay.

yeah, but they put out 3000 CA. not 900CA.

Buying Optima IMO is like buying mainstream audio. There is better for the money.

im trying to get 2 batteries. one for the car one for the audio. also that way i dont have to run huge 1/0 wire under my carpet. can you help with that. im looking to spend about 300 on 2 batteries. and i dont think that svr would fit under my hood

O.K than get 2 Blue Tops from costco, they will be cheaper than $300 and are better than the Yellows.

You could be under budget even if you bought 1/0 ga wire.
