Optima battery model for my car?

Okay. I want to buy a yellow top, however I don't know what model to buy.

I drive a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS and I'll be installing it in the trunk paralell to my batter under the hood.

Does it matter which model I buy?

Help needed ASAP.

if it's a second battery... any one will work. who cares what model it is. just get the biggest you can afford.

for my stereo in my boat i have three of the biggest delco's they make. two are aux and one if the main, however i can have it switched to (1) the main batt, (2) both aux batts, or (all) which is well, all of them. they all get charged when i get home but while i am out there i just leave it on (2) all the time which is my aux batts. i can have it rockin super hard for about 4 or 5 hours, jump in it and start the boat right up on the same two batteries it was playing on for all that time. the other one is only for security. i hate being stranded.

174 shipped you can get a 12v bat cap that is 1/3 the size of a yellow top, discharges faster, and still has 800 cranking amps..

you can put 3 of them in the engine bay in the same place/weight of a yellow top..

yellow tops weren't designed for car audio.. although they work good for that..

batcaps were designed JUST for car audio... check em out on ebay

Great. First time I ever see that battery. Im probably going to get one to power my system. If I had that battery powering my system and the regular battery thats in my expedition (630 cca), should I have dimming if I have my headlights on, 4 TVs on, and neon tubes on, all at the same time?
