Should I wall two 18's or port back subs face up in a hatch??

The better quesion is, do you have enough volume to do them sub up port back? I don't think you would in a hatchback. You might have enough gross volume to satisfy the subs, but once you factor in the fact that you need atleast the port's width away from the trunk hatch (more volume lose) and the actual volume that the port takes up, which will be huge for 2 18's, you'll be left with less than optimal net volume for the subs. What about only one of those 18's?
