I am in need of another head unit, unfortunatley I have been out of the "game" for along time. This is what im looking for in a hu. Good eq, time alignment, full cross over, and dvd video with touch screen (touch screen is preferred). Money is a max of $1500. can someone point me a direction that fits the bill in this department? I am also looking for someone inmy area to "shoot the shit" about car audio as well.

Eclipse AVX5000 heard nothing but good things about it, only thing is not alot of people use it.

and if u have extra money look up the Eclipse DCU105 to go with it.

this is exactly what im looking for except I dont think I whant to go with a flip out. I think I will just order the new dash bezel from Chrysler for the Nav and go with a double din screen. by the way this deck will be going in a Chrysler 300. I am building a SQ car.

Alpine IVAW200+H701 would be the epitome of a double-din SQ combo. You could also look into an AVIC Z1. I'm asking $1610 for mine; BNIB, never been opened, factory sealed with a one year warranty.

I tested the before mentioned Eclipse. It was a great unit. Might be my next.

Kenwood is making some decent Excelon 2-DIN touchscreens.
