Opinions? what major to take in college

Well lately guys I have been seriously considering going back to college. First I want to say this is a community college so I will be going for 2 years. So will be going for a associates degree. I am looking at a few different degree options. The two main degree options I am looking at are business and marketing management technology and Electrical technology. If it was you which would you choose and why? Also looking for opinions on the financial point of view AND job security with the way the economy is going to be hurting for a while. Seems the modern way:

dont know what you want in life, dont know who you are, go blow thousand and thousands for nothing to get a degree, hey let your money (or rather the banks money and your credit) buy you happiness.

If I had a dollar for every moron w/ a masters/BS/BA working as a manager at best buy, a check out person and a supermarket or some other meaningless job you dont even need a middle school education for.

...instead of getting a BS in B.S. go do something real in the world.

Ive considered that as well. I have done sales before and did extremely well. Just wasn't sure how big ticket items were going to sale in the next 5 to 10 years. any other opinions

Yeah I agree electrical is nice. I hear working on motors in factories is a lot better money than electrician But management and business is good money too. But want to hear opinions still. and anybody that has experience with both would be nice

all crap aside, how often have you seen those school commercials on TV, ITT tech, motorcycle "institute", cooking university blah blah blah, allot of these schools (including state schools) make a big profit on selling a dream of self empowerment / improvement... a better life, the thing is that isnt something you can hang on a wall or something someone can teach you, it something you have to do for yourself. Out of all the salesmanship this is the most...disgusting (even worse then funeral homes and car sales).

thinking outside the box will give you more materalistic bull chit (as I know that's what most picture as "the good life") then anything a school/university can.
