At first I was going to just add a cheap sub to my stock HU set up in my truck, but the wife has added a few more $$ to what I can spend, so here's what I'm thinking:
I bought some like new Infinity Kappa 60.7CS's from my wife's nephew for $75 (I thought it was a good deal).
I want to put those in the front with the tweeters and run them on the front 2 channels of a Hifonics Zeus ZXI80 and bridge the rear two channels to run an RE Audio REX 10" sub in a sealed box under the rear seat and a Clarion 7 band equalizer.
The line level output from the HU will be run through a David Navone LOC and RCA's to the amp.
I think I might run the rear speakers straight off the HU just for fill.
What do you guys think? I can do it for around $325ish. Would this be ok for a relatively low budget build to get started?
Ultimately I want to add a HU with 7" fold out screen and gps built in and a mono amp to run the sub so I can use the rear 2 channels on the Zeus to power a decent set of rear speakers.
