I was thinking about getting the car in This craiglist add but I don't know if its a good idea. I need a reliable car and just don't know much about BMWs in general. Are those expensive cars to fix? Are they reliable? Is it fast? I am not very wise when it comes to luxury cars seeing as I have always owned a pos ford. great cars, but like mentioned IF something does go wrong.... it probably wont be cheap and who knows how easy parts will be to find. if you have some money in the bank then i'd do it. just one of those better safe than sorry deals. Jamesypoo has one and i know he likes it quite a bit. might pm him.

I would rock it, low miles too at least for the age and price. Get it checked out by a mechanic first.

That one looks to be in great shape. My friend has a '93ish 530i that he loves. Its reliable and pretty quick, but I would expect that 525 to be very fast. Only problem with a used bimmer is repairs costs will be steep if there are any mechanical issues

Ive had my e30 325i and its around 150K miles without a bump. I say go for it because thats an awesome price!

Is this just pure opinion or do you have the facts on why? I have herd very highly of most BMWs
