what i have now are 2 boston pro tens great sound quality but would like a bit more spl just bought rf bd1000 pro haven't heard the bostons on the new amp they are running off aJL 500/1maybe that is the problem, not enough power. looking to run two 12's, 10's are okay these are the local choices alpine type rs diamond m6s JLw7 (the w7 are a little pricey ) don't want to spend more than 700 a pair all going into a 2002 accord

You could get a pair of 10" or 12" Brahmas for about $700. Those should still sound good, but they'd have more SPL. One of my friends has a Brahma 12 in his jeep powered by a Soundstream TARANTULA (one bad A$$ amp, wish I had one). It's really loud. I know many people don't like planet Audio, but the Big Bang subs are really loud, and they sound pretty good. You'd probably surprise a lot of people with the Big Bangs. You could probably get a pair of Big Bang 12s for $500. Hope this helps.
