Opinions on SoundQubed?

I am considering selling my single JL 8W7 and buying two Soundqubed 8" subs. Does anybody have any experience with this company? I have read that they are the same company or similar to Digital Designs. Is this true?

Great subs man. They don't disappoint. Put them in the right box and they shine.

What do you want to achieve man? You want sound quality, keep what you have. If you want loud then get a single 12" hdc3 in a proper ported box.

It seems to be PPI I mean Soundstream no I mean Power Acustik now. Wonder whats next?

I may just keep the W7 for now. I live in central Wisconsin, surrounded by hicks. They would rather buy deer rifles and loud exhausts for their rusty Chevy trucks than a nice W7! I might try a bigger amp. I have been using a 900/5 JL. I need to stick with 8's because of height restrictions. I was thinking about a MTX TD1000.1 and the matching 4 channel amp.

this is old, but how do you like that PPI ba7000.1?
